A Fashion Week partner, the Juneau Douglas City Museum brings out some of Juneau's historical collection in celebration. Centrally located, this museum dives into mining history.
Make your way through the downtown neighborhoods to Basin Road, Alaska's first road ever built! Originally used to access gold mining sites, this wooden road follows Gold Creek into the Perseverance Valley where there are numerous trail to explore including Mount Roberts, Mount Juneau, Ebner Falls, old mining ruins, and more!
